You’ve seen him: hustle for the Philadelphia Eagles
You know him: by his nickname “Shady”
You want him: for entertainment, fitness, football, NFL, sports and television

Philadelphia Eagles running back and new Sponsored Tweets star LeSean McCoy has an excellent vision and big-play ability, so it’s no surprise that he’s emerged as one of the most explosive and versatile offensive weapons in the NFL.

The 5’11”, 208 lb Pennsylvania native was awarded a five-year contract extension in May 2012, which will keep him with the Eagles through the 2017 season. Originally a second-round draft choice out of Pittsburgh, LeSean made an immediate impact during his rookie season in 2009 and seamlessly transitioned to his role as the team’s starting running back in his second year.

During his career, LeSean has received many honors and achieved impressive stats. Since 2010, LeSean’s stats include 31 total touchdowns, 3,819 scrimmage yards, 25 rushing touchdowns and 2,826 rushing yards. He also ranks among the league’s top running backs in many of the major offensive categories. He was named FedEx Ground POY, and earned AP first-team All-Pro honors and his first trip to the Pro Bowl in 2011. Additionally, his 637 rushing yards in 2009 were the highest total ever for an Eagles rookie.

LeSean remains actively involved in his hometown community by donating uniforms to the Harrisburg Broncos, the youth football team he grew up playing on. He has also embraced the Philadelphia community, participating in many local charity events, including a holiday shopping spree with Kisses for Kyle and a Thanksgiving turkey giveaway in 2011. LeSean is known for his nickname “Shady,” which was given to him by his mother when he was a young boy because one minute he’d be smiling, the next he’d be shy.
