You’ve seen him: hustle as Running Back for the Pittsburgh Steelers
You know him: from his NFL debut with the Cowboys
You want him: for entertainment, fitness, male demographic and sports
Pittsburgh Steelers running back Felix Jones is the newest SponsoredTweets star. The Tulsa, Oklahoma native played college football for the University of Arkansas, breaking records and earning a consensus All-American. After college, he was selected by the Dallas Cowboys as the team’s first pick in the first round of the 2008 NFL Draft — only the fourth running back ever selected in the first round by the Cowboys!
As a Cowboy, Felix became the first rookie in the Cowboys’ 48-year history to score a touchdown in each of his first three games, and, in only his second game, set a Cowboy record with 247 kickoff return yards against the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday Night Football. Unfortunately, an injury forced Felix to have season-ending surgery after only six games. After months of grueling rehab, Felix returned and played for the Cowboys until 2013. In May 2013, Felix signed a one-year contract with the Philadelphia Eagles, but was traded in August to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Off-the-field, Felix has been equally as busy and successful. Felix’s marketing company Felix Jones 2, LLC (FJ2) allows him to partner with companies proven to share his values of excellence, integrity, humility and productivity. Additionally, Felix volunteered to become the 1st Official Spokesperson for the City of Tulsa’s “Mentoring to the Max” program.
