Hot on the tails of Teds announcement from earlier this week, we’ve tweaked a few other parts of the system that we have gotten the most feedback on. These are parts that we’re striving to make better and would love to get more feedback on what we can do to make SponsoredTweets a place you want to Tweet for.
Early Cashout!
Since the beginning, you’ve needed to earn $50.00 in order to cashout to Paypal from SponsoredTweets. This makes more sense on some of other sites like SocialSpark where each transaction is larger. With the smaller transactions on SponsoredTweets it’s been tough to make it to that threshold. We’re still considering other options, but for now we’ve implemented the ability to cashout under $50 with a $2 early withdrawal fee. So long as you have more than $2 in your account, you can cashout anytime when the limit would have stopped you.
Notifo Notifications!
One of the biggest reasons that Tweeters miss offers is that they’re not in front of their computer to check. Maybe they don’t check their email, or don’t check their Twitter direct mentions in time, and they end up expiring. We’re hoping Notifo helps to solve this for people with iPhones (and later other devices). If you have an iPhone, and want instant alerts from SponsoredTweets, check out Notifo. Notifo is a notification application, currently only for iPhone, that pushes messages to your phone. We have added Notifo as a new method of receiving notifications for advertisers and Tweeters. It is easily the fastest way to get messages from SponsoredTweets, and should be delivered a few seconds after we send them. For more information on setting up Notifo and tying it into your SponsoredTweets account, ready about Notifo in our Glossary.
Higher pay for CPC Offers!
When CPC launched on SponsoredTweets, Tweeters started to be overwhelmed by offers paying $0.02 each. We received a lot of feedback on this point and have decided to raise the minimum up to a minimum of $0.10/click for Tweeters (note: this is how much Tweeters get paid; advertisers will pay more per click). If you’re an advertiser and you already have CPC Opportunities in the system, you’ll be grandfathered in at your current price. You’ll still be able to refill your Opportunities and change who can take it, but any new Opportunities that are created will need to abide by the new minimum.

That's a sweet tweet, thank you, but I'll hold out for the big 50!

I had fun yesterday. Is there a live person I can talk to?

Agree with the comments above. Great improvement! I like the option to withdraw early but I think i'll continue to hold out until the big 50 as well. Just something fun about watching the money accumulate. Good to see the CPC offers increased but i cant imagine anyone finding the 0.02/click offers worthwhile anyway. THANKS IZEA!!!!

@The Padrino You have to understand that every time there's a transaction with PayPal, we as a company incur a cost. Hence the $50 cash-out amount.
From a business perspective, we have to recover these costs somehow, therefore the $2 early cash-out fee.
If you don't want to pay the $2 you can always keep with the $50 cash-out.

Nice, this is a very nice info from the admin as its not easy to reach the minimum of 50$ for the twitter users who has low followers.

I like the idea of Sponsored Tweets. I am still thinking of whether to be an advertiser or a tweeter. I think the $2 early cash-out fee is fair.

I am ok with the cash-out fee.

@Ashley K. Edwards
It's not that I don't want to pay the $2 fee because I always wait until its over $70 not $50 to cash out.
The point I'm saying ST Is making 50% off each tweet we send out that should be plenty enough to handle all fees.
Answer one question how does Mylikes make payments each friday and the min cash out is $2 as a company?
Ashley K. Edwards said on 7.28.10 at 2:54 pm
@seofreetool You can use Sponsored Tweets both as an Advertiser and a Tweeter. Be aware, though, that you cannot have the same e-mail address tied to both.
We recommend you sign-up as a Tweeter with your Twitter handle (same log-in info as through Twitter), and use an e-mail address to register as an Advertiser.
Let us know if you have any questions!

@The Padrino They just have a different business model than we do, apparently.
Thanks for your feedback! ☺

Wonderful! I waited for the 50 bucks! Good to know I do not have to wait that long now!
I just love Sponsored Tweets! Thanks for all the improvements!
Benjamin Kerensa said on 11.24.10 at 12:58 pm
I think the $2 early withdrawal fee is not effective for everyone.... say someone has $4 then you are taking a 50% fee plus anything you made from the advertiser on top of that.
Perhaps making the early withdrawal fee a percent instead of a flat rate since most users dont make that much. like 10-25%?
