This is it people…the big one you have all been waiting for. Sponsored Tweets is hosting another challenge for our referral program, and we are giving away more than we ever have before.

Win ALL this Apple Gear!

We are not giving away just a laptop or an iPod. The winner of this challenge will snag a boatload of Apple gear including:

WHHHHAAATT!??

We know what you are thinking. Does one person really win all of that? Yeah. We are that awesome. That is so much Apple gear that you may just be able to take over the world. If you do take over the world we would like to see universal bacon delivery to the home. Everyone deserves bacon. Everyone.

The Challenge

1. Click the Retweet button at the top of this page.

2. Use your referral link inside SponsoredTweets to sign up new Tweeters to the system. You can use the standard tweet, display ads or get creative and make something new. If you are a developer you may use the SponsoredTweets API.

  • The challenge starts today and ends January 31st, 2010.
  • The person with the most valid new referrals during the contest period will win.
  • Your referral Twitter accounts must be over 120 days old by contest end (you can’t just setup a bunch of Twitter accounts and refer yourself).
  • Referrals prior to today do not count. Everybody starts fresh!
  • Valid to U.S. Residents 18 years of age and older only. Void where prohibited by law.
  • Do not use Twitter bot spamming (or any spamming for that matter) to drive registrations. Doing so will make you ineligible, you will be reported to Twitter and your SponsoredTweets account will be suspended.

    If the contest started on 12/2 and the Twitter Referral Account must be 120 days old by contest end (Jan. 31st), that's only 60 days from now. How is this supposed to happen?

    Reeg. The accounts must be 120 days old in Twitter, not Sponsored Tweets. You can't sign up for Twitter today, sign up for Sponsored Tweets and expect to be counted.

    @Rajesh Kanuri, I think their are legal reasons or delivery costs, Izea did do an international referral compensation a while back, and I think that was a cash prize.

    @Gina If you look under #2 in the rules, bulletpoint five states that this program is only open to US residents.

    And yes, Sponsored Tweets is a global service; however, we currently only support English speaking Tweeters.

    Why in the world would I want to refer this program to anyone when you haven't gotten me any offers and i have over 11,000 followers? And when the only ones who seem to be making ANY money are making pennies? I don't recommend programs that don't produce. I am soon starting and affiliate review site at http://servant2all.com. Sponsored Tweets is not likely to get a favorable review thus far. Here's hoping for improvement.
