I’m a Mommy Blogger. I don’t always talk about parenting, but I always see the world through a mother’s lens. My hope is that I can help women to be more confident. The women online are typically searching for connections and solutions; by default they are bright and interested. My friend Rick Goings told me that the way to succeed is to find a great parade and walk in front of it. This is my parade.

How did you first find out about Twitter?

Before Twitter had two vowels (Twittr) I was reading Amie’s blog and she had a Twitter stream in her sidebar. I didn’t quite understand it at first, but I watched for several months and clicked through on a few tweets.

What do you tweet about?

I tweet about my daily life here in Los Angeles. I have kids and a husband, and a ton of amazing girlfriends, so there’s always something to share. I love listening in on other folks and connecting with people. I’m pretty enthusiastic about marketing and campaigns, so I’ve been known to talk about marketing and social media, too. It’s like any cocktail party; I talk about whatever the folks in the group are talking about.

How has Twitter changed your life?

Twitter put me in many of our nation’s largest newspapers, for better and sometimes for worse. The Twitter community has been tremendous and I’ve made connections with women I’d otherwise never have met.

Why did you sign up for Sponsored Tweets?

I think it has the ability to deliver a tremendous value to advertisers, and social media is my business. It’s a marriage that should be sustainable.

What is one piece of advice you would give to our advertisers?

Get ready; every move you make will be scrutinized, but with any luck they’ll spell your name right.
