    Love the small payout ideal.

  13. kayce said on 8.31.10 at 6:40 pm

    such as... people other than celebrities actually getting offers? THAT would be a treat :)

    Just mentioning that because I have 17,500 followers and am listed at $1.00 per tweet but haven't received any offers in months so it's pretty sad.

  14. ashley said on 9.1.10 at 9:22 am

    @kayce It's all contingent on what sort of Advertisers are using the system at any given time. Are you utilizing the keyword feature in your profile?

    Is the exciting new thing going to be marking me up as an author or web celeb, since I'm now one of the top 100 most powerful women on Twitter, and a magazine columnist and I've won a stack of awards? Hmm? Maybe? What do you say? :P

  21. Tessa Dick said on 9.2.10 at 1:45 pm

    lower pay outs?

  22. ashley said on 9.2.10 at 1:51 pm

    @Tessa You can cash out at any time!

  23. Sister2brother said on 9.2.10 at 3:33 pm

    I have to say that I am quite "giddy" with the lower payouts! Even though I have to pay the $2 fee I have found that when I "cashed out" to my Paypal it was almost immediate! So it does work and in my case it worked FAST!

  24. Terry Brindley said on 9.2.10 at 10:42 pm

    Ashley,as I criticized your withdrawl methods and the fact that you are using tweeters money and investing it, and making a damn good profit. I notice you have deleted my tweet. Obviously you do not want other tweeters to see that tweet. Kindly reinstate it. If you do not, it just means for me that everything I said is true. Whether we cash out after paying 2 dollars or not, Sponsored Tweets are investing Tweeters money (it is no longer your money) so you should pay out like MyLikes who pay every week if you make their 2 dollar pay-out limit. As I said yesterday, you take the example of 1,000,000 Tweeters you have $10 dollars in their account (which they have earned) that makes 10,000,000 (ten million dollars) which is not your cash, and you invest that money and make a big profit. I also suggested, that if you are going to invest that cash (which is obvious that you do), that any interest should go to the tweeters account and no to Sponsored Tweets. Do NOT Delete my comments, because by doing so, you admit that I am right, and you do obviously not want other tweeters to see my comment!!!

  25. ashley said on 9.3.10 at 8:06 am

    @Terry Thanks for the input!

    Firstly, I'm not sure what "Tweet" you're referring to, but no Tweet of yours was deleted. Nor were any comments. We are open and transparent here, and are always willing to correspond with our Community. Was it a Sponsored Tweet, or a Tweet to one of our profiles?

    Next, can you please explain what you mean by "investing"? It's not really making much sense. Don't know much about MyLikes but they obviously have a different business model than we do (with their weekly payout practice). Here's how Sponsored Tweets works:

    The Advertiser provides money. We connect them with the Tweeters, through the platform we've built. The Tweeter gets paid by us, for the work they do, and we (Sponsored Tweets/IZEA) get a percentage of what the Advertiser pays. It's a pretty simple model, but not one that fits your "10 million dollar model."

  26. Terry Brindley said on 9.3.10 at 11:02 pm

    Ashley, I meant to use the word -comment- not -tweet-. And when I checked my comment had been deleted. You obviously do not sit on money tweeters have earned and have not cashed out. It is wise to invest that cash,, so you must invest it and gain interest on it, any normal person or company would do that. OK you pay the tweeter, but if they do not cash out what do you do with the money??? I am sure you do not keep it idle, so in one way or another you can make interest on it (by simply sticking it in the bank for example).
    Anyway doesn't matter, I am not interested what you do with it, but do not forget that is not your cash, you are only keeping it while waiting for the tweeters to withdraw that money. I am not going to pay 2$ to withdraw 4$ which I have earned over the past i do not know how many months.
    I hope in about 18 to 24 months time that I will have my targeted followers so I can promote Clickbank products and make some decent cash. What you pay, especially the 2 cents a click things, is trivial. The only people who make cash out of Sponsored Tweets are the celebs, and those people do not need the money but as they reach 100's of thousands of people, it is obvious they get better tweets and a better pay-out.
    Nothing more to say.
    Hope it is CLEAR now.
    Terry

    I like your program here very nice

  28. Ashley K. Edwards said on 9.7.10 at 8:57 am

    @Terry I *think* the comment you might be referring to was actually left in another post (http://sponsoredtweets.com/cashing-out-your-sponsored-tweets-earnings/), just FYI.

  29. Adam Fortuna said on 9.7.10 at 9:07 am

    @Terry, thanks for clearing up the question about investing Tweeters earnings. Unfortunately that's not the case here -- and every time it comes up with the CFO they laugh this off. All money that comes in goes to running the company, and we set aside enough for Tweeters to cash out on their own -- but that money kind of has to be in Paypal so that you can withdraw it at any time (I'm pretty sure Paypal doesn't give any interest rate seeing as how they make money on transactions, not on storing money there).

    I agree with the $0.02/click being way too low though. In July we raised this to $0.10/click for all new opps, and I think it has really helped Tweeters as a result. In the end your audience size doesn't matter as much as how engaged they are, and how large a % of them click on your links. There are people with 200 followers who make more than 2,000 - it's all about the quality of the audience. If you pay a premium for reaching 2,000 followers and they don't perform well, they'll be tagged in the system as so, and will have trouble getting new offers until they lower their price.

    Hope it helps clear away some of the confusion! We'd all love to find a way to lower the cashout amount even more, but we're still working on just how we could financially do it without being hit too hard with Paypal fees.

    @Ashley
    I don't see it there but thanks anyway

    @Adam
    OK, thanks very much for the clarification. It is just good to know where the money is going, and what it is being used for. Thanks again for the info.
    And pleased also to know that there are no more opps at 2 cents. I did not bother with those anyhow.
    The only other thing is that I have 13 (If I remember rightly) tweets waiting until the Advertisers send you more funds. Will that ever happen :)) ?
    Have a nice day to both of you

    Hope it's a facility to amalgamate all twitter accounts into one sponsored tweets account, it would make life easier and be able to withdraw quicker.

  32. admin said on 9.9.10 at 10:18 am

    @Terry - Yeah as soon as the advertiser adds more money, the oldest tweets submitted would start going out. Better this way than you Tweeting it and getting no funds because they wouldn't have been able to pay you. :)

    Yes, where is to put our paypal

  36. Ashley K. Edwards said on 9.16.10 at 8:12 am

    @Marida @bobos You actually enter your PayPal address when you cash out. Just hit the "Withdraw" button and you'll see the field where you enter the address.

    @Ashley
    @Adam

    I have a problem. to make a comment one has to put ones email address and name, also website if one wishes.
    I have tried deleting this information after making comments, but when I log back in here, the info is still there, and Ashley you were right that I had posted in the -how-to-cash-out section.
    My problem is that it seems people who are logging in here, or where I made the first comment can see my name and mail address, and my website address. I know this because I have checked my visits on StatCounter.com, and have had a couple of visits to my site which have your referal ID on them. So I don't know what is wrong there. If that info has got stuck or whatever, but would be grateful if you would look into the matter. And if I ever have to make another comment I hope the same thing doesn't happen again. No damage done, as most people logging in here are normal genuine people, but I do not like the idea that anyone can get hold of my email address or even my website url.

    Thanks for your help!

    @adam

    You said in a previous post that there would be no more 2 cents a click opps, and that they were raised in July to 10 cents a click. I am still getting opps at 2 cents AND 4 cents a click, which seems to contradict what you said.
    Any comments
