Sponsored Tweets is a whitelisted Twitter application. We use the Twitter API to directly retrieve user photos, friends, follower and update stats. All tweets done through the system post through the Twitter API to your account. We pull account updates every 24 hours.
Twitter Grader
We use the Twitter Grader API to gather a Tweeter’s Twitter Grade score (0-100). Twitter Grader measures the power, reach and authority of a twitter account. The grade is calculated as the approximate percentage of other users that have an equal or lower score. For instance, a Twitter Grade of 80 means that about 80% of the other users got a lower score.
Algorithm Factors
Number of Followers : Raw number of followers
Power of Followers : Grade of people following the tweeter
Updates : Raw number of updates
Update Recency : Time lapse since last update
Follower/Following Ratio : Comparison of these raw numbers
Engagement: Amount the user is referenced or cited, the higher the twitter grade.

Twitter Counter
Sponsored Tweets utilizes the Twitter Counter API to gather a tweeter’s Twitter Rank score (1-infinity). A user’s Twitter Rank is based on the raw number of followers they have relative to all other users. The lower the number, the more followers a tweeter has. For instance, a Twitter Rank of 10 means that only 9 other people have more followers.
We pull updates from Twitter Counter every 24 hours.
Bit.ly
Bit.ly allows users to shorten, share, and track links (URLs). Reducing the URL’s length makes sharing easier. Unique user-level and aggregate links are created, allowing users to view complete, real-time traffic and referrer data, as well as location and metadata. We pull Bit.ly data click tracking data every 5 minutes.
